The beginning of this month marked two years since CJ's diagnosis. While I flash back to that moment like it was yesterday it is quite amazing to think of where these two years have taken us. From a sick little babe strapped to IVs and wires galore in a PICU, to a brave little girl wise beyond her years. In those two years we have done approximately 2,000 finger pricks, 250 pump site changes, and 120 sensor changes. In those two years there have been countless sleepless nights, juice boxes and glucose tabs. Hours spent going cross eyed over care link reports and basal tests galore. However, today we celebrate! Today, we celebrate her lowest A1C yet of 6.4! What a sweet reward.
